We are seeking an ASSISTANT BREWER and a SERVER/BARISTA!

1. Assistant Brewer - Prior brewery experience is preferred; a strong and positive work ethic is required. The ideal candidate for this position can learn and follow direction, work well interdependently with the other members of our team, and shares a commitment to the production of our award-winning craft beer.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Performing brewing tasks, working with lead brewer, and assisting master brewer and other duties with all necessary tasks to produce quality beer. Assist with brewhouse operation: including wort production, CIP/ Sanitation of mash-tun and brew kettles, and weekly brewhouse cleaning as needed. Specific duties include:

· Maintain tanks according to the weekly schedule.

· Maintain proper awareness and adherence of SOP’s

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all hop and grain storage areas

· Help keep brewhouse and cellar vessels/area clean and organized

· Assist Lead Brewer and cellar lead with projects and other tasks as needed

· Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities in brewing process as needed

- Estimated schedule 25-30 hours per week- weekdays

2. As a Server/Barista, you contribute to DOTF success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates a positive experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.  The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with the DOTF Mission Statement and Philosophy.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of DOTF. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a clean and comfortable store environment.

  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a welcoming environment during each shift.

  • Assists with new member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

  • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a "customer-comes-first" attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.

  • Experience in customer service, bartending, or as a barista preferred.

  • ServSafe or TIPS certification not required, but a plus.
