A Death of the Fox Brewing Company room

We built New Jersey's only coffee roastery and craft brewery under one roof because mornings and nights belong in the same place. Our gourmet beans are roasted right here and pulled as espresso, cold brew, and flights starting at 7am — on the same wood tables where we serve sixteen taps of beer and seltzer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, brewed here and pouring from noon. One roof in Clarksboro, two daily rituals, same crew.

Good to know

Questions about Death of the Fox

Parking, how this location differs from the other two, and what to expect when you walk in. Answers below are specific to Clarksboro.

Where do I park?

Free, well-lit parking in the lot at the Villages of Whiskey Mill, right outside the door at 119 Berkley Road, Unit B — just off Exit 18 of I-295. Busy Friday and Saturday nights fill the front row first; there's overflow around the building.

Do you have wellness cocktails?

Yes — our wellness cocktails are signature drinks, not mocktails. At Death of the Fox they're upscale, bar-crafted pours you can order right alongside a pint or a latte. Ask at the bar for what's on today.

Is your coffee and beer good?

INSANELY GOOD. We roast onsite and the beans are fantastically fresh — it's not uncommon to grab a bag of beans right after we roast them. Our beer is brewed onsite by an international brewmaster and has won many awards. Quality beverages are what we live for.

Do you serve food?

Under New Jersey ABC regulations, breweries with our license type cannot serve prepared food. You are welcome to bring your own or order delivery. We do sell pre-packaged snacks — granola and fig bars, cookies and crackers, and small pre-packaged muffins to go with your morning coffee.

What's the deal with the coffee and beer thing?

Coffee and tea are served all day. Beer pouring starts at noon, every day.

Do you sell cans to go?

Yes. Crowlers (32 oz) and 12 oz cans from our carry-out fridge, or we can seal a fresh pour into a can for you. Cans are for carry-out only.

Can I buy your beans?

Yes — whole bean by the bag, or join Bean Counters and have it arrive every month.

Are kids and teens allowed?

Absolutely. We are very family friendly, with plenty of non-alcoholic options.

Do you host private or semi-private events?

Yes. Birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, class reunions and corporate happy hours.

Do you have outdoor seating?

Yes, we typically have roped-off tables on our outside sidewalk, weather permitting.

Are you dog friendly?

Service dogs are welcome inside. Other dogs are welcome in our outdoor seating area, weather permitting.

How many people can you fit in your tasting room?

Up to 76 people, per local fire code.

Tell me about your weekly events!

Open Mic on Tuesday nights, Trivia every other Wednesday, live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and Karaoke on the last Sunday of the month (until 9pm). Plus craft nights, comedy nights and guest restaurant nights throughout the year.

How the three fit together

Three separate places.
One family behind them.

These are three distinct addresses in South Jersey — not three areas of one building. Each has its own street address, its own hours, its own staff, and its own online ordering. You visit one at a time.

What they share is ownership and supply: Death of the Fox Brewing Company roasts the coffee and brews the beer, and the same espresso bar and whole-bean lineup runs through all three. Beyond that, each location has a menu built for its own neighborhood — so a brunch plate or a beer may only exist at one of them.

Pick the location closest to you, then order from that location's link so your order is made in the right kitchen.
